CRICKET HILL FARMSTAND

Local food, made easier to find when it is truly available.

Cricket Hill Farmstand is being developed as Whitcomb Homestead’s customer-facing food-production, aggregation, retail, and direct-sales enterprise. CHF can sell legally processed food from RLF livestock, grow fresh produce and herbs directly, and carry selected products from approved local farm partners. We are building the sales side in stages—starting with practical direct-market channels before any permanent farmstand building is needed.

DEVELOPING — CHF is building its direct-sales systems now. Product availability, market dates, pickup/delivery options, subscriptions, reservations, and retail hours will be announced only when they are actually operational.

Local Food, Built Around Real Availability

Small farms do not produce like supermarkets, and we do not want the website to pretend otherwise. Availability can depend on season, flock or herd timing, processing schedules, harvest conditions, customer demand, and the capacity to fulfill orders well.

CHF is designed around that reality. As products become available, the goal is to make it clear what can be purchased, when it can be reserved, where it can be picked up or found, and how customers can plan ahead.

How CHF Will Reach Customers

The permanent Cricket Hill Farmstand building is a later-stage goal. Early sales can begin through lower-capital channels as real product supply and legal operating pathways come online.

Important: Live animals and breeding stock remain direct RLF sales, not Cricket Hill Farmstand retail products.

From Farm to Customer

RLF focuses on livestock production—land, animals, husbandry, breeding, regenerative management, and live-animal or breeding-stock direct sales.

CHF focuses on human-food production for its retail channels, approved local-food aggregation, and the customer side—how food and retail products are sourced, presented, reserved, purchased, picked up, delivered, or found at a market.

For Chefs & Restaurants

We are interested in relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, and specialty food buyers who value local sourcing, seasonal products, and direct communication with small producers. Commercial supply is not yet represented as established.

For Local Producers

CHF does not assume every future retail product must be produced by Whitcomb Homestead. We are open to relationships with local producers whose products fit CHF standards for quality, reliability, customer usefulness, economics, and regulatory compliance.
